The saga actually began several days before GAfilk. I arrived at Brian and Suzan's Tuesday night so I could pick up Jodi from the airport the next day.

We had two practices at Brian and Suzan's house -- one on Wednesday night with Brian, Jodi, Dave and I. And then on Thursday George and Teresa joined us for a
full band rehearsal. On Thursday before our last rehearsal, Jodi and I decided we had to find the right sort of book to inspire us to sing our best at the GAFilk
banquet.

Friday afternoon, registration for Gafilk 2005 opened.

GAFilk has its own New Year's celebration. We sing Auld Lang Syne and drink champagne (or sparkling cider), and make a great many jokes!

Most of my pictures are of the set up before the banquet. During the actual banquet, they wouldn't let me take pictures because I was supposed to be performing.
But, I managed to get a few pictures of some of the banquet attendees.
